My name is Samantha, but mostly everyone calls me Sami. I am from Providence, Rhode Island. I attended school in the heart of the city, but grew up in the suburb area known as the East side. Yes, that city with the dancing traffic cop.

During my holiday vacation I had an interesting media experience of watching the 500 million dollar flick Avatar in 3-D. It was surprisingly good, and I really enjoyed the story line. One thing I like about our 21st century media culture is that everything is technology driven and I can receive instant gratification. One thing I don't like about our 21st century media culture is that we are so easily manipulated. The media are controlled by corporate giants, and we as consumers seem to have become puppets to these giant corporations. The vision I have for myself in the future professionally, is working as a publicist or an event planner.
